A semi full range electrostatic speaker, similar to the III, employing the Beveridge acoustic lens system. Resembling System III on a somewhat larger scale, the VI is also a passive transducer allowing the user to choose his own amplification according to his/her taste. It improves however, on System III by adding two additional external sub-woofer housed in their own independent enclosures, thus reducing coloration and unwanted resonances within the main ES cabinet. The cylindrical front waveform is created by means of the acoustical lens coupled to the vertical narrow line source at the front. As with all Beveridge speakers, the rear panel radiation is totally absorbed within the enclosure, thus eliminating any interference or cancellation by rear-generated waves.

The speaker employs a 2x10" woofers/channel, covering the lower audio range (40-200Hz). A bypassable cross-over network is built in, which allows for a variety of bi-amplification modes, but the ES unit is protected at all times by a fixed high quality capacitor.
