System III SW is similar to System III. It is a passive semi full range electrostatic speaker employing the Beveridge acoustic lens system. Like System III it allows the user to choose his own amplification units according to his/her taste. The cylindrical front waveform is created by means of a vertical narrow line source at the front. The rear panel radiation is totally absorbed within the enclosure, thus no driver created cancellation waves are present in the listening room.

The speaker employs two satelite subwoofer cabinets, each housing 2x12" bextrene dynamic woofers, covering the lower audio range (40-100Hz). A cross-over network is built in.
