BEVERIDGE   MODEL II-SW2

The Model II-SW2 is an evolution of Model II-SW1. It shares the same aims with its predecessor, i.e. increased SPL. The two models also share similar electronics and sub-woofers, in the latter case crossed over at the slightly increased frequency of 100Hz. Like the SW1, the Model II-SW2 employs a modified acoustic lens design that takes advantage of the fact that the lowest fundamental octave is no longer required to be reproduced by the main cabinet. The external CM-1 control module is no longer employed - woofer controls are based in the main electronics pedestals of the main enclosures. The Model II-SW2 produces a full 180o cylindrical front waveform dispersion. As with all Beveridge speakers, the rear panel radiation is totally absorbed within the enclosure, thus eliminating any interference or cancellation by rear-generated waves.
